Porsha Williams has filed for divorce from her husband, Simon Guobadia, of 15 months.
The Real Housewives Of Atlanta star filed for divorce from Simon on Thursday in Atlanta, according to court documents. Porsha was calling herself Porsha Guobadia but according to the court documents, she never changed her name. Smoke and mirrors folks, smoke and mirrors.
News of their split comes as rumors fly online about Simon’s citizen status. However, a source claims the divorce is “unrelated to recent allegations involving Simon’s past”, it’s an “ongoing matter.”
Porsha, 42, and Simon, 59, said “I do” in November 2022 in a Nigerian traditional native law and custom ceremony followed by an American ceremony in Atlanta.
The pair announced their engagement in May 2021 after one month of dating. “Yes we are crazy in love,” Porsha captioned a selfie with Simon, “I know it’s fast but we are living life each day to its fullest. I choose happiness every morning and every night.”
