Simon Cowell Egged at Britain’s Got Talent Finale

Natalie Holt issued an apology for pelting eggs at Simon Cowell shortly after the Britain's Got Talent live final


Simon Cowell sure got an egg-full on Saturday, June 8 getting egged on live TV during the Britain’s Got Talent finale.


The egg thrower Natalie Holt, 30, is a viola player in a band called Raven Quartet who took part in the show last yea, she was onstage playing with the orchestra at the time. Simon was hit by the egg and continued the show without his jacket on. Her bandmates have insisted that they were not involved in the incident. Holt later issues an apology saying ‘in hindsight, it was a silly thing to do’.

“I want to apologize to Richard and Adam for overshadowing their performance. I’ve never done anything like this before and in hindsight I have realized it was a silly thing to do.”

Cowell seemed to take the incident in stride, tweeting after the show, “I really don’t like eggs.” He later added, “I don’t think eggs should be allowed on talent shows. Discuss?”

The talent show was won by Attraction, with Jack Carroll runner-up.
