Thandie Newton Welcomes Baby Boy Booker Jombe Parker

Thandie Newton has given birth to a boy! The 41-year-old actress and husband Ol Parker welcomed their third child together on Monday 3rd March 2014. The actress and her writer/director husband, who married in 1998, are parents to two daughters, Ripley, 13, and Nico, 8.

“Our baby boy is finally here! Booker Jombe Parker. Born joyously at home yesterday”, Thandie tweeted to her fans. “My 3rd home birth with brilliant independent midwife Caroline Flint – and Carole Goddard @PhoenixMidwives. Keep independent midwifery alive! Blissed out with @NYR_Official supplies – from candles at the birth to Baby Balm for his skin – organic, gorgeous and nurturing”, she continued.

Dad Ol Parker also shared his joy on twitter, “We had a baby, that’s a beautiful thing. He’s called Booker, and while he doesn’t do much yet, I suspect him to be awesome”.
